Hi! Im Ben from Surrey, England. I graduated from Kings College London in 2019 with a 2:1 in Philosophy. I then decided to move to Japan and start freelancing here as an English teacher as well as studying Japanese at the same time.

In my 7 years living in Japan I have now passed the highest level of Japanese possible (JLPT N1), and use Japanese at work everyday.

At school level, I attained 6 A's and 3 A*'s at iGCSE level, and 2 A's and an A* at A-Level.

I have taught at one of the most infamous language schools in Japan now for 7 years. As well as this, I have also led corporate training for Japanese Airlines (JAL), did translating work at a science facility in Sapporo, and interpreted at an international airport in Japan.

I am often seen as a laid back teacher, with putting the student first. I always try my best to allow the student to answer any questions they have, and also adjusting my teaching according to the student`s level so that they can have the room to improve as much as possible.
