I am an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher with over 18 years experience in a primary school. I have been tutoring for the last 10 years. I have an Honours degree and am passionate about teaching children and helping them to achieve their full potential. I enjoy walks in the surrounding countryside, cooking, reading and gardening.

Teaching Experience
Prior to becoming a tutor, I was a Key Stage Leader, class teacher and a member of the Senior Management and Leadership team of a good primary school. I have valuable experience of working with children with SEN, including autism and children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. I was also a mentor for students on teacher training, preparing them to become excellent teachers through guidance and support. In addition to tutoring my UK students, I also tutor online abroad.

Fiona has been teaching my 12 year old son Math and English. She always comes prepared with a lot of materials and tasks on a paper, notebook and whiteboard. Also what is very important is that Fiona always provides feedback on the lesson what was good and what needs umprovement which Fiona records for the next lesson to follow up. My son enjoys tutoring and is always looking forward to the next lesson. So we are glad that Fiona provides lessons to our son. Highly recommended
