I am an experienced secondary school teacher with over 12 years of classroom teaching experience. I currently serve as Head of History and Politics and I am also Head of Geography at my school. Alongside my full-time teaching role, I have been providing private tuition for the past eight years, helping students achieve their academic goals and build confidence in their studies. I can teach GCSE and A level for all three of the above subjects, as well as Classical Civilisation.

My lessons are usually 1 or 2 hours and predominantly focus on developing exam technique as well as improving content understanding and retrieval.

I have extensive experience teaching students from Year 7 through to Year 13, including GCSE and A-Level courses both at secondary school and tutoring.

Throughout my career, I have worked with learners of all abilities and backgrounds, including Gifted and Talented students, those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), and students for whom English is an Additional Language (EAL). This has enabled me to develop a flexible and personalised approach to teaching that meets the needs of every learner.
