I am a finalist at Cambridge University for my degree in English and am incredibly passionate about and dedicated to the teaching of my subject! In tutoring sessions, I ensure that the environment of lessons is friendly and open so that students feel that they can always ask questions to ensure that they make the maximum progress in their subject as possible. I utilise past paper questions in order to ensure that students, wherever they are starting on their journey, can make progress in tailor-made sessions for them to improve their exam performance.

I am currently studying English at Cambridge and am most familiar with the AQA exam boards for English and Edexcel for Psychology and History as these are the qualifications that I took myself. However, I am able to adapt to the exam board requirements of varying boards and would love to discover new texts alongside the students and help them with their own analysis! From personal experience of exams, I have significant advice to give on exam technique and essay writing in order to ensure that students know how to tackle all kinds of question to the best of their ability.

I create an open and welcoming environment in every tutoring session, beginning with the building of an agenda with the student based on their specific needs, before working through questions, plans, and sample answers to ensure that the student achieves at their highest possible ability.
