Robert Crayford-Venn has been teaching the piano for over 25 years, and is happy to teach all ages and abilities. He is a classically trained pianist, but if pupils wish to play different styles of music such as pop he is more than happy to help pupils play the music they enjoy. He has a patient and enthusiastic approach and his main aim is to ensure pupils get to love playing the piano! Robert is DBS Cleared and a Member and Registered Teacher of the Independent Society of Musicians (MISM)

Robert has built up a teaching practice over the years that includes both children and adults, and has entered pupils for ABRSM & LCME exams up to Grade 8. He also teaches up to Grade 5 Theory. Robert is also available as an accompanist for Instrumental/Singing exams having had considerable experience as a Musical Director/Accompanist for many musical theatre and choir groups.

Robert's considerable experience over the years has taught him that "one size does not fit all", and therefore has a very flexible approach when it comes to teaching. He is more than happy to teach pupils who simply want to play for pleasure, or those that would like to study for exams.
