Hi! My name is Patrick, I'm 25 years old and am about to start a PGCE at the University of Manchester! I love music (both listening and playing instruments), football, travelling, cooking and watching films and TV shows, as well as reading - mainly modern classics, of course. For the last few years I've mainly lived in Spain and Italy, and have learnt so much about living abroad and all the various cultures that are found in doing so. I believe everyone has more in common than not, and cannot wait to begin getting to know you, and your abilities!

I've been teaching English as a second language since 2023. In this time, my main focus has been on Cambridge exam preparation, from A1 level all the way through to C2, and have generally done so with great success! I am also comfortable in practising conversational English, and have taught students as young as 6 years old, to retired philosophy professors in their 70s!

I always enjoy getting to know my students, and feel building a rapport is incredibly important to establish an effective learning space. I'm friendly, approachable and am always willing to help in any way I can, and consider myself to be completely flexible to the needs of any given student.
