Sana

I am a highly experienced primary school teacher with over 15 years’ experience, including work as an Inclusion Lead and SENCO. I am passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and neurodivergence, including ADHD, autism, AUDHD, dyslexia and dyscalculia.

I also support children with low self-esteem, helping them build confidence, self-awareness and a positive relationship with learning. My aim is not only to help children bridge gaps in English and maths, but also to help them feel understood, capable and excited to learn.

Teaching Experience

I have extensive experience teaching children across a wide range of needs and abilities, including verbal and non-verbal learners, reluctant readers and writers, high achievers, and children who need extra confidence and encouragement. I am also experienced in report writing and can offer general SEN advice to families.

Alongside my classroom and leadership experience, I have qualified as a NASENCO and am currently collaborating on a research paper with a psychiatrist exploring autism and communication. This strengthens my up-to-date understanding of how to support children thoughtfully and effectively.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is fun, play-based, interactive and highly personalised. I use art, music and sensory play to help children regulate before learning begins, because I believe children learn best when they feel calm, safe and engaged.

Sessions are designed to be enjoyable as well as purposeful, and children often look forward to them. One child even said the sessions feel like they finish too quickly. I work intuitively and compassionately, with patience, care and high expectations, and I am committed to helping each child make meaningful progress.

Sana tutored our sons during a transitional period. Both boys had their primary education abroad. We asked Sana to assess each child to help us establish any gaps, strengths, and weaknesses. We found Sana to be very engaging with the boys. Both have a different way of learning, and Sana was able to adapt to fit each child's needs. She made the lessons interesting and engaging. We were provided with accurate feedback and a plan to help the boys enter secondary education. We are very grateful for her dedication and loved how she wanted only the best for her students. We highly recommend Sana. Her experience, expertise, and passion can clearly be seen.

Sana has been teaching my daughte since last year, and I can not explain how messavie improvements I have seen in my daughter all because of Sana's devotion, kind and loving nature and understanding of my daughter's needs. I will recommend Trimizi tution to all those parents who are struggling with their children behaviour, focus and bad tantarum. I do discuss each and every single matter of my daughter with sana and she does listen and advise me accordingly.
