I'm an experienced Classics teacher, and work full-time at a grammar school, but I also enjoy tutoring students online on a one-to-one basis.

I have helped a number of students over the years now, both via Firsttutors and other agencies, offering online lessons in supporting them to work towards their GCSE or A level exams in Latin, Ancient Greek and Classical Civilisation. I have been teaching Classics for 30 years now.

My approach to tutoring is all about supporting each individual student in practising and strengthening their translation skills, memorising, and essay-writing skills. The first lesson is always a trial lesson, whereby you get the chance to ask questions and find out whether you wish to have more lessons, and for me to find out which gaps you may have in your knowledge and what skills need practising. I have a vast amount of practice material, including practice questions, papers etc.
