James has been great, I would highly recommend. He managed to fit us in during a very busy period, which we are very greatful for. He is flexible and works on what my year 10, son needs each week. He is knowledgable, calm and patient and my son says his sessions are making a big difference.

My daughter has recently started with James to support her with preparation for her GCSEs. From the very first lesson my daughter has said just how approachable James is with his teaching. She has felt at ease and has said just how beneficial these sessions are being able to run through prior papers, learning the syllabus as well as working on exam preparation and technique which sometimes isn't focused on so much within school. As a result of how pleased we are, we have also scheduled for my 13 year old to now begin sessions as she struggles with Maths in general so a different set of support but we are sure James can assist. James is a fabulous Maths tutor to my ten year old son. He has already built his confidence and improved his Maths skills, showing him different ways of problem solving. James has a calm and considerate approach which has proved effective in grasping my sons attention and enabling him to quickly develop within his problem areas. James has been helping her for 4 weeks and her confidence has improved dramatically. He explains maths problems in a way she can clearly understand and they get through so much in an hour. From the first enquiry, James was very prompt in responding to messages and a 'test' session with my son was quickly arranged. James is helping my son with his GCSE maths and after only 3 sessions his confidence in maths is already improving. He reportedly answered a question in a maths class in school which nobody else knew the answer to and was delighted to be able to correctly answer a grade 8 question.

James was prompt to reply and communicated well. I only noticed after paying the website the introduction fee that James had said in a message that he only tutors from home. For us this was unsuitable. This was no fault of James' at all. I think that there is scope for confusion on the initial page of each tutor (due to the setup of the site), in that, there is a picture of a car followed by a message saying 'can meet in person'. I took this to mean that a tutor can drive to meet you in person at whatever location suits. I think that the site setup could be slightly clearer on this point. Sorry for leaving this on your page James, but it was the only option given by the email from the site. To anyone reading this, I'm sure that James is a fabulous tutor and thank you once again for your time.

James has always been very prompt and courteous and is always prepared for the planned work each week. My daughter feels at ease with him and James is working with her to find the level she is comfortable working with.
