I am an experienced teacher with 26 years' experience working with young people and supporting students to achieve their academic and personal goals. My teaching combines strong subject knowledge with a structured, supportive and individualised approach. I particularly enjoy helping students to develop confidence, understand challenging ideas and become more independent learners. Alongside academic tuition, my wider educational work includes English language teaching, EPQ and DofE support, and talks and educational experiences exploring Quaker faith, history and values.

I hold an undergraduate degree in Theology, a PGCE in Religious Education, an MA in the History of Christianity, an MSc in Learning and Teaching, a Certificate of English Language Teaching for Adults (CELTA) and I am an Accredited DofE Assessor. I am also currently a student myself, studying for an MPhil in Quaker Studies. I have considerable experience of supporting students with a range of additional learning needs, including autism, PDA, hearing impairment and dyslexia, and understand the importance of adapting teaching to the individual learner. I have taught across a range of examination boards and have current examining experience, giving me valuable insight into assessment requirements, examination technique and what examiners are looking for.

I offer personalised teaching, tuition and educational support for young people and adults. My aim is to provide high-quality, supportive learning tailored to the needs, interests and goals of each individual. I use Zoom to facilitate online lessons, and teach in your home if local to my area near Chipping Norton.
