I am a kind, patient tutor studying Electrical and Electronics engineering at the University of Southampton. I cover Maths at GCSE level as well as 11+, KS2 and KS3 and Alevel. I also cover Physics at GCSE and Alevel. I achieved A*AA in my A-levels with an A* in maths and truly have a passion for learning and teaching the subject.

I believe in the importance of mutual trust and respect between tutor and tutee and as a result can adapt to the different needs of a range of different students.

I have experience working as a Teaching Assistant which involved helping primary school children with maths including multiplication, division, fractions, time and basic geometry.

I have also spent time working with children using Lego based engineering/coding software. Using this, I was able to help them create mini projects such as mini RC cars and high five counters as well as Python fundamentals and problem solving.

I believe in a relaxed and adaptable approach to tutoring where in the free trial lesson I gain knowledge surrounding the student's strengths, weaknesses and habits before preparing custom lessons and a road plan.

By introducing and working through topics with students I can create a concrete foundation that we build upon through practice. The student would then be asked to explain the topic at the end to help consolidate understanding. By talking to the student about their experience with the topic, I can prioritise weak spots as well as solidifying strengths accordingly.

As for practice, I offer worksheets and past papers for GCSE and 11+ as well as many other helpful resources. We would decide on any homework together and go over it in the following lesson.
