Stephen was an excellent Tutor, he went above and beyond to help my daughter improve on her GCSE results during the difficult period when COVID started. I could not recommend him highly enough he truly cared about the outcome and my daughters learning.

Engaged Stephen four weeks ago to provide top up gcse maths tuition for my son. Lessons have gone well, good rapport with my son, and am confident as the lessons continue there will be an improved grade outcome when exams are held next year. Update: My son has had almost a year of weekly tuition from Stephen, starting towards the end of year 10. He was then forecast to get a grade 5 gcse, but now is projected to achieve a grade 7. Much of this improvement can be attributed to having 1 to 1 online tuition with Stephen. His obvious experience and expertise ensured the sessions were efficient and effective, dovetailing into and complementing what was being taught at school, and showing alternative methods and shortcuts while working through past papers. My son found it easy to raise uncertainties and to ask questions. His confidence in the subject improved noticeably during the year. Not surprisingly I recommend Stephen highly. I should also mention that he was very understanding on the few occasions it was necessary to reschedule a session at short notice.

Stephen is a very good teacher and my son is really enjoying his lessons. Hopefully my son will improve his grades this year.
