I am more than a teacher; I coach and support students to succeed in life in general. I help them set their own goals, build their self-confidence, and find their way to building their future.

I have also supported young people and adults in developing their careers. Many of my tutees have gone on to achieve their desired destinations in colleges, vocational courses, or universities.

Having knowledge of a subject is important, but having the skills to study and prepare is even more vital to achieving the desired results. I find that many students require study skills more than subject knowledge. This is where I can help and support. I don’t just teach students—I guide them to discover their own path and follow it through.

Provide help and support for parents with ESOL, if required.

I am patient with students and skilled at differentiating tasks according to their ability and level, helping them rebuild confidence in understanding difficult mathematical concepts.

I provide support in study skills across subjects when required, guiding students toward independence, a willingness to learn, and a growth mindset. I work with them to identify their strengths, revisit areas needing improvement, and build on prior knowledge. Lessons are tailored to each student, using a mastery approach to support recall and understanding. I also provide differentiated tasks and past papers based on individual needs.

I help students develop time management and organisational skills, working with them to plan and prepare effectively for exams.

I am fluent in English and Arabic, and able to adapt my teaching and communication to support learners from diverse backgrounds and those who speak other languages.
