Hi, I'm George, a third year medical student at the University of East Anglia with a passion for helping students build confidence in maths and science! Having recently completed my own GCSEs and A-Levels, I know exactly what it's like to be in a student's shoes and understand the challenges that they can face. Outside of my studies, I enjoy staying active through the gym and sport, and I love sharing my enthusiasm for learning with others!

Over the past year, I have regularly tutored students in A-Level Biology, helping my students develop a deeper understanding of challenging topics while building confidence in their exam technique. As a third year medical student, I continue to develop my knowledge of biology, chemistry and mathematics through real-world application, allowing me to explain concepts clearly and demonstrate how they apply beyond the classroom where appropriate.

My lessons are tailored to each students needs, but I strongly believe, from my own experience, that the best way to improve is through active learning. After ensuring a student understands the underlying concepts, I focus heavily on worked examples and exam style practice questions, as this is whee confidence and problem solving skills are developed! Throughout each lesson, I encourage students to explain their thinking, identify any misconceptions and learn from their mistakes, helping them become more independent and confident learners.
