I've been teaching French to adults for many years either online or on site. I specialise in one-to-one tuition, and know how to get my learners to excel through focused attention, patience, a lot of practice, as well a supportive and motivational approach. I make learning enjoyable through a variety of engaging and tailored activities. I have also taught the French DEFL exam which is often a requirement for adults wishing to acquire a recognised proficiency level. I have also worked a number of years in a secondary schools so I have a strong understanding and solid knowledge of multiple exam boards requirements. I have successfully supported students including home educated children with their exams. As a highly motivated and supportive French tutor, I have managed to help my students reach their full potential and achieve the grades they deserve. I have a wealth of experience, especially in GCSE and A-Level preparation and together, we can boost your confidence ahead of your exam.

I follow various course books and additional resources to give my adult learners as much exposure to everyday situations as possible. I like to establish a good grammatical foundation using a wide range of engaging activities and materials. Once you have acquired a good tool kit and become more confident, I take as many opportunities as possible to get you to practise the language and what you have learnt. As for school and exam tuition, the focus is on language knowledge and exam practice in order to build my students 'confidence. I use a wide range of listening, writing, speaking and reading materials supported by AQA and Edexcel exam boards.
