I have been a private maths tutor since 2015, working with students of different ages and abilities, from upper primary through to GCSE and A Level. My lessons are friendly, focused and adapted as we go. I use carefully chosen questions to find where a student is getting stuck, then build their understanding and confidence from there.

Outside tutoring, I play guitar and sing, enjoy food and cooking, and previously played a central role in the success of an award winning pie company. Family and friendships are very important to me, and I would describe myself as patient, dependable and easy to talk to.

Lessons are shaped around the individual student, using visual, spoken or written explanations depending on what works best for them. I focus on building genuine understanding and confidence, rather than simply teaching students to memorise a method.
