I am a qualified teacher and French/Spanish tutor as well as a speaking examiner and examiner/assessor.

I taught French and Spanish up to A Level in a school before becoming a private tutor. I now teach individuals and small groups, mostly on line.

In the summer I do speaking exams for all the different boards and GCSE and A Level, at private exam centres in or near London. This means I am well placed to support students with the specific exam techniques that are necessary for their exams.

I am just as willing to stretch an advanced student to achieve a top grade as to cut a few corners to secure a good pass for someone less confident.

I generally do a first on line lesson and take payment afterwards, if the student is happy. I prepare a range of materials for this session, aiming to make the session useful, as well as a way to discreetly check their knowledge in various areas and see how we can move things forward.

If the student wishes to continue, we then come up with a plan, often structured around a particular text book. I then take payment for around half a term, in advance.
