Vivian Lao Shi is wonderful - very patient and thorough as she prepares my son for his Chinese GCSE. She’s always responsive to messages, punctual, very organised and most of all a really caring tutor.

Very happy with Huiwen as a teacher, its good that she always prepares the lesson and its clear she is a very qualified teacher. She is able to explain grammar etc in a clear way which some of my teachers of the past haven't been able to do as effectively. I've been learning Chinese for a while so not a beginner but I wish I had had a teacher like Huiwen from the beginning because she has taught me some things I should have learnt from the start. I'm looking forward to continuing with her and taking my chinese to a more advanced level. I like how she sends me resources between lesson too!

Huiwen is teaching my two daughters age 6 and 11. She is a very experienced teacher which makes it much easier for my two daughters to learn this difficult language. I had tried to teach my daughters myself as I am a native speaker. However, after a few lessons with Huiwen , I realised she has great knowledge and methods of teaching Mandarin. Excellent teacher. Builds confidence in student by making them feel comfortable in explaining themselves and their thoughts in a second language. Progress is incredibly fast as a result. Varied topics also improve vocabulary at a quick rate. Couldn't recommend enough.

The lessons have been really useful so far. I like the way they're structured, and writing short pieces for homework has been challenging but helpful. It's been really great to have examples of online articles to read, or a film to watch, has this has helped develop different skills.
