I am an experienced teacher specialist tutor/mentor with over 25 years of experience in education, including senior leadership and specialist SEND support.

I have taught across Key Stages 1 to 4. I also have extensive experience supporting pupils with SEND, including ADHD, SEMH, emotionally based school avoidance EBSA and dyslexia . I am currently working for BCP as a specialist tutor/mentor.

Every child/young person learns differently, so I adapt to suit each pupil’s strengths, interests and learning style. My initial aim is to build confidence, as confident learners make the greatest progress. Lessons are engaging, structured and supportive helping pupils to develop the skills and resilience they need to succeed . During the summer holiday tuition can be particularly valuable for consolidation learning , preparing for a new school or simply rebuilding confidence before September.
