I hold a First Class Honours degree from University College London, where I was placed on the Dean’s List for academic excellence, and studied for my PGCE at the University of Oxford. I also hold a TEFL qualification and am a member of British Mensa.

My teaching spans English, EAL, creative writing, Biology and Science. I work with students of different ages, educational backgrounds and levels of English, from younger learners building strong foundations to A Level Biology students preparing for demanding examinations and university applications.

I am a published writer and previously worked as a journalist. I am currently working on a YA trilogy! In addition to writing, I love to travel and explore the local beaches with my four-year-old son.

I am the COO at Tailored Tutors and have seventeen years’ experience across private tutoring, classroom teaching, curriculum development and education.

I have also worked as a teacher in international schools.

Whatever the subject, my approach is clear, methodical and highly individual. I identify the precise knowledge, language, skills or confidence gaps holding a student back and build a structured programme around their curriculum, goals and way of learning.
